Aylesford Priory
Feasibility study and masterplan to establish a strategic framework for long term sustainable operation of the priory on its historic site. Existing buildings are of outstanding heritage significance, ranging from 13th-20th century and include several listed grade I and grade II. They are set within extensive landscaped grounds in the River Medway floodplain and within the Aylesford Conservation Area.
The initial feasibility stage included an assessment of historic significance, condition of buildings, and options for repair and enhancement. A wide range of options for appropriate use of the existing buildings and for new development within the historic context were considered their economic viability compared.
